Guess I didn’t keep that New Year’s resolution on posting work online cause it has been a long minute since I have been on here! NEW WORK This piece is part of a dyptic and is titled Tapestry. Shot under a particular type of tree (BONUS points if you can name the tree cause I can’t remember the name at this moment) in Maui that dominated my camera frame while I photographed from underneath. The result is a green tapestry of detailed small leaves. A tranquil capture that allows full immersion in the serene beauty of nature. Yesterday on August 15th marked the start of the Italian holiday Ferragosto, a holiday where the country shuts down and heads to the beach for a week or two. Like seriously, they really close up shop. Coincidently, yesterday I got word that this piece was launched on ANTHROPOLOGIE and I am absolutely giddy about it! Beach Then Gelato was shot in the Ligurian region in Imperia, Italy. Hello!
I have a new piece titled FLEETING. This was shot just a hop away from my home Meadowbrook park. A pretty little area where many in my circle walk our dogs, grab coffee (oh hey maybe a cocktail too!) and freeze to near death in winter watching our kids sled down “the hill”. Also so many photo sessions (you know who you are 🫶🏽)
So on this Monday a nod to the little fleeting moments that make up life. May they be meaningful and good 😊

Hello! I have some some photographic prints that are starting to surface with retailers. This piece is titled Basalt and is with WEST ELM. I had my daughter when she was younger by my side when I shot this in Iceland. I recall her running her hands over the black basalt rocks that towered over us and then asking me...is this even real Mom?
