This is a 1940 Martin 0-15 that a customer brought to me to see if I could do anything with it. His Grandfather bought it new for his Dad when he was a kid. It was tucked away in a closet until my customer was cleaning out his Dad's house with his daughter and they found it. It was in very bad shape but had a lot of sentimental value, as he remembers his Dad playing it when he was young.

Here's an inlay job that I did. The customer ordered the pearl from Custom Pearl Inlay in Malone, NY and had me install it. More pics to come...

Here are the finished pics of the dropped Martin. All of the damage is in a spot that won't be seen so we decided not to do any finish repair. All I did was brush a little lacquer on the bare wood after minimal sanding.

Here are pictures of the glue up procedure on the smashed up guitar. I had to glue the break on the side first, followed by gluing the back to the side down by the output jack. Then I glued the splits on the back (for some reason, I never took pictures of that). The loose back brace was the last thing I glued.

I haven't posted here for quite some time but while organizing my pictures, I came across some recent repairs that I thought I would post. This customer had his strap come off and his guitar hit the concrete floor. More photos to come...
