🚨ROAD CONDITIONS🚨

As temperatures drop this evening, road conditions across Madison County may change rapidly. While some roads may dry this afternoon, others will remain wet and could freeze overnight, creating areas of black ice. Runoff from today’s rainfall may also freeze quickly as temperatures fall. Drivers should use extra caution on bridges , overpasses, shaded areas, and rural roadways, which tend to become icy first and stay slick longer. Conditions may improve Monday as temperatures rise, but isolated slick spots could persist through the morning hours. Please slow down, allow extra following distance, and avoid unnecessary travel if possible.
