SA Recycling’s Tennessee Region was a Gold Level Sponsor exhibitor and participant at the Annual Tennessee Environmental Network’s Show of the South (TENSOS 2024) May 15-17 in Chattanooga, TN. SAR was one of 114 exhibitors at the event which was attended by nearly 1,000 participants. This event allowed us to showcase our company’s immense recycling capacity in the U.S. and how SAR is an integral and an essential part of the circular economy and sustainable energy future. And our presence allowed SA to pick up new suppliers and foster our relationships with existing customers, our regulators, and Chattanooga’s Mayor Tim Kelly. BIG thank you to SA’s Marketing Manager, Carl Daniels II, for designing the booth posters, Jeff Farano and Lindsay Maine for their recommendations and assistance with content, Operations Administrative Assistant, Tara Oaks and Regional GM Moises Figueroa for the drone video of Terminal Island and the “Life Cycle of a Vehicle” and “Vehicle Metal Recovery” posters.
TENSOS 2024 was attended by SA employees Jason Avery (Tennessee Regional GM), Justin Pinson (Chattanooga GM), Luke Bryant (Knoxville Area Buyer), and Ryan Langham (EHS Coordinator) and Dan Lovingood (Regional EHS Manager) who spearheaded SA’s participation in the event.

TENSOS is the largest, most comprehensive and diverse environmental education opportunity in Tennessee, and was attended by nearly 1,000 Local, State, and Federal Government Officials, Business and Industry Leaders, Attorneys, Consultants, Engineers, Developers, Land Owners, Architects, Agribusiness Leaders, Energy Experts, Water Planning Districts, Universities, Public Health Officials, Solid Waste, Enviro-Tech, and Recycling Experts, and many, many others with a strong interest in environmental activities in Tennessee and the Southeast region. WOW! Our SA Recycling facility in Owensboro, KY and their donated bin was featured in the local news yesterday regarding Yankeetown Elementary School competing in the Million Cans Recycling Contest. WOW! Our SA Recycling facility in Owensboro, KY recently donated a bin to a local elementary school to compete in the Million Cans Recycling Contest. Great job team, LETS GO!!
