In case you missed it... "PFAS" (per and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are a concern that has the attention of the EPA and other regulatory agencies... but what are they? In the simplest terms, "they" are man made substances used in the manufacture of consumer and industrial products since the 1940's. The concern is that they have been found in humans, and are very difficult to impossible for the human body to break down.
