Howard Schultz, former CEO of Starbucks.
Did NOT make money for 17 years.
At one point, he had to borrow money to make payroll.
Nobody wants to talk about the fact that it's incredibly hard to build something sustainable and meaningful.
If you want to make money, consistently. You have to be willing to make less for a longer period of time.
I know for a fact that I can build something that will be worth a billion dollars.. because I know how to wait/be patient.
A lot of people want to make a billion dollars AND they want to make it now. It does not work that way. Business does not work that way.
If you're willing to go through that era of the slow and dark days of building a business, you will make more money than everyone else.
If you want to be absurdly rich. Learn how to be strategically patient.
