~ Second Reminder ~

🚧❗Beginning at 1pm TODAY, Friday, September 4th, the following road closures will occur in preparation for the downtown car show:

Third Street - from Hodgson to Chase Street
Locust Street - from Third Street to 2nd Street
Broad Street - from Third Street to Niblock Alley
Lincoln Street - from Market Street to N. 4th Street
Market Street - from N. 4th Street to Third Street
Pine Street - from Third Street to Lancaster Avenue

Roads will begin to reopen at the conclusion of the event at 8:00 PM and should be reopened fully by 9:30 PM. Please use caution and expect delays when traveling around town on Friday.

❗There will be FREE PARKING for this event staring at 4:00 pm (the start of the First Friday Car Show) sponsored by and Combat Elevator Inc .

🍉🍞🌽🌺 Today is Thursday so that means it is Oxford Village Market Day!

Stop by and get fresh produce, breads, flowers, pastries and local art between 1:00 - 6:00pm. The market is located at the corner of Third and Market Streets which is behind the Edward Jones Building.

Our produce vendor will have sweet corn, watermelon, tomatoes, and more!

🚗The 2026 Car Show is THIS FRIDAY, Sept. 4th from 4 - 8PM🚙
Below are the general lists of expectations.

‼️First Fridays are family-friendly events to bring and support a vibrant community. Our Merchants, staff and volunteers have worked very hard in staging this once monthly event.
With this in mind, please help us in creating a welcoming and safe environment for all by following these rules:
🧑‍🧒‍🧒Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Absolutely no drop offs.
🚲🛹No bike riding, skateboarding, roller blading or using a scooter during First Friday.
🏬Please be respectful of our downtown merchants: do not bang on the windows, run in stores, leave trash or act disrespectfully. Our Merchants are the backbone of our downtown and have worked hard to build and grow their businesses.
🦮Any pets are to be leashed and attended to at all times. You are responsible for all pet waste.
🚫We will not tolerate foul language, hate speech, discrimination, or any other kinds of negative behavior.
🚫No horseplay, roughhousing, loitering in the parking garage, or playing sports (throwing/kicking balls) in the streets.
🗑️Use the trashcans provided. Our Downtown is beautiful; let’s keep it that way.
