Mighty Oak Sawmill had changed names as we merge with our sister business. We no longer offer portable sawmilling, but we can still saw your logs into amazing lumber on our farm in Oxford, CT.

Some live edge red cedar shelving for a customer in town. Red cedar is easily one of my favorite woods to cut just because of the way the mill smells afterwards!

We took delivery of a load of walnut today freshly cut from Easton, CT. Taking orders now!

Due to unexpected maintenance, the circle mill will be shut down for about a week. These blades are on the way to Bangor Maine to get hammered. Hammering flattens them and ensures they cut true and straight.

Part of regular maintenance on a circle mill is sharpening the teeth on the blade. This is done manually with a hand file and a guide.

We have some lumber on hand from extras on customer orders. Call or message me if you see something you like. The wide live edge slabs are pine. We also have a decent amount of oak trailer decking on hand.
