Most people never realize they’re repeating someone else’s words.
A teacher who believed in them before they believed in themselves. A mentor who challenged them. A friend who refused to let them quit. A mother, grandmother, coworker, neighbor, or stranger who said exactly the right thing at exactly the right time.
Years pass, faces change, and life moves on.
But one conversation keeps showing up.
It shows up the first time they speak up in a meeting. The day they leave the relationship they should have left years ago. The moment they decide to bet on themselves. The way they raise their children. The way they encourage someone else.
The conversation ended.
The impact never did.
