Here's something most nonprofits can't say:

💯 100% of your donation goes to our mission. Zero platform fees.

We fundraise through Zeffy, which means your whole gift — not 95%, not 97% — funds robotics kits, drone gear, and lab time for our students. Plus you get a tax receipt instantly.

Give where every cent counts: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/building-tomorrow-together-3

Why do a quadcopter's propellers spin in opposite directions?

Newton's third law. A rotor spinning one way tries to spin the aircraft the other way. Two clockwise and two counter-clockwise cancel that torque out, so the drone holds its heading. Want it to turn? The flight controller deliberately unbalances them: speed up the pair spinning one direction, and the leftover torque rotates the whole aircraft.

Why does training an AI use so much electricity?

Training means nudging billions of parameters, one tiny correction at a time, across trillions of examples. Every nudge is matrix multiplication, and there are astronomically many of them. GPUs run those operations in parallel for weeks straight. The intelligence isn't stored anywhere clever. It's paid for in arithmetic.
