Another reminder...
4th of July is right around the corner. It's one of the worst days for pets!!!
Collars with a tag or phone number written in sharpie is THE FASTEST way to get your lost pet home. The dollar tree sells collars for $1.25. Go get your dog one today.
The 2nd fastest way to get your dog home is to have them have a REGISTERED microchip. This does require you registering it online and it requires a finder to go to a vet or animal hospital to get it scanned (No charge).
This weekend is the LAST FREE MICROCHIP EVENT before the big day.
FINAL free Microchip Clinic before July 4! Help us get your pet home to you quickly should the worst happen, and they escape during the holiday.
Remember, microchips only work when scanned... so make sure your pets are wearing up to date I.D. tags as well so neighbors or passerby can contact you right away if they find your pet.
Microchip clinics are for Ventura County residents with dogs and cats 8 weeks and older only.
