This week's ice breaker presentation was by member and commercial insurance agent, Miriam Andrade, with Farmers Insurance.

She discussed how she helps clients navigate their insurance coverages to make sure they get only what they need to keep their insurance premiums as low as possible.

She stated lots of businesses closed as a result of the pandemic, but many more are coming to fill their place.

Another interesting coverage she offers are home warranties that help with repair costs on main building components and appliances.

BNI Coastside is honored to have Pacifica Resource Center (PRC) as our non-profit member. Executive Director and Coastside member, Anita Rees gave the member 10 minute presentation this week to share what PRC does for the community. In existence for 50 years as a San Mateo County program, it became independent in 2016, providing programs for low income Pacificans, such as: grocery delivery, baby and youth, homeless services and rent, mortgage and utilities assistance.
