🎨 Teen Spirit submissions are OPEN! 🎨

Calling all talented high school artists across Western Kentucky! Students can apply by working with their high school art teacher to submit their artwork for this year’s Teen Spirit exhibition.

This year’s juror, Ms. Burkhardt, is a teacher with a bachelor’s degree in Art Education, and we’re excited to have her help us celebrate the incredible creativity of our region’s young artists!

We can’t wait to see what Western Kentucky’s high school students have been creating! 🖌️✨

Is your high school not listed? Reach out to us! We’d love to work with you and your school to get them involved.

Tip Tuesday #13: Be kind.

Build Independence, one step at a time.

Students with disabilities often thrive when given opportunities to practice skills independently. Instead of completing a task for them, try breaking it into smaller steps and providing support only when needed.

Small successes build confidence, confidence builds independence, and independence opens doors to future employment and community involvement.

Every step forward counts!

I love getting out into the community and celebrating the wins of community partners. S/o to the Housing Authority of Paducah for their two new playgrounds! And thanks for having us to celebrate such an amazing experience.
