Wednesday at Sprocket Paducah’s Entrepreneur Support Coffee Hour, Amie is excited to welcome Brittany Nielsen, EA, PFP, owner of Open Door Accounting LLC, for a session titled: It’s Your Business. Your Profit Should Come First.

Amie originally learned about the Profit First methodology through participation in the Chamber’s small business cohort and later chose Open Door Accounting & Coaching for Connective Consulting.

Now, Brittany will be sharing insights about that approach with the Coffee Hour community. As a Certified Profit First Professional, she helps business owners use a practical cash flow management system that supports profitability, sustainability, and better decision-making.

What a great start to the day at Entrepreneur Support Coffee Hour at Sprocket Paducah! We leaned in as three local collaborators - Luke Resser, Sam Coram, and Seth Hawkins - shared their story about how curiosity sparked a partnership that grew far beyond what any of them expected. Together they filled in each other strength gaps, pooled their resources, and tapped into each other’s networks to build something truly special. That’s the power of collaboration! (P.S. Over the past several months, something special has been unfolding through the She Leads Circle.

Eight incredible women said yes to the process…to reflection, to growth, and to the kind of conversations that don’t always happen in the day-to-day of leadership.

Amie is grateful to be participating in the WAVE Leadership Program, created by the West Kentucky Alliance for a Vibrant Economy.

This regional leadership experience is designed to strengthen, inspire, and connect leaders across West Kentucky’s River Counties through immersive learning, behind-the-scenes tours, and meaningful conversations about the opportunities and challenges shaping the region.

The cohort’s first session began in Ballard County, where they gained a close-up look at the river, regional industry, and the kind of collaboration it takes to move communities forward. Born and raised in Hickman County and now based in Paducah, she is proud to be part of this region and thankful for the opportunity to keep learning alongside others who care deeply about its future.

The day included a valuable experience in Wickliffe at James Marine, Inc., and Amie is already ahead to the cohort’s next session in Hickman County.
