🇺🇸 Shelved your green card plans this year? Look at the latest numbers first.
Between April and June 2026, USCIS approved 3,835 EB-2 National Interest Waiver petitions. The NIW approval rate has now climbed three quarters in a row, from 35.7% last summer to 55.3%.
EB-1A is a tougher story. 1,348 approvals against 2,832 denials in the same quarter, about 32%. Officers are asking more of extraordinary ability cases, and many people who would have filed EB-1A two years ago now stand a better chance with NIW, or with both filed together.
So the category you choose matters as much as the record you bring. And what carries a petition is your work and what it means for the United States, whatever your field. Nurses, engineers, teachers, founders, farmers, artists. We have helped more than 40 people reach approval by showing exactly that.
