Decisions, decisions— when you can only pick three images of your work for your show application and you are excited about the first two— but unsure about which one should complete the group… I’ve been trying to trust myself and listen to my intuition but I am just frazzled.

Each version starts with a close up of a large, statement piece that is collages Periodical cicada wings from Brood XIV of 2025. The second image has a collection of faux leather bracelets with multiple local wings.

Working on my show schedule for the year—Some of the applications are already live and submitted but waiting on others to be loaded. Also working on some new pictures for shows with later application dates.
Once I get my plan together, I will post my “tentative” schedule online. I do know that my first show will be The Ky Crafted Market in Lexington, KY at the Alltech Arena on March 7-8, so you can mark your calendars for that one!!

Although I’ve been working late since I got back from St. Louis, I only got about half of what I had laid out to do accomplished. Someone needs to remind my boss (AKA Me) that I’m getting slower every day. 😆 I still managed to get lots of new goodies made to take with me for the tomorrow in Berea, KY from 10-4–including my first ever invasive Lantern fly jewelry!!!I found three dead specimen when we were in Cincinnati, OH a few weeks ago. I know it’s an invasive and bad and all that, but I was also so excited when I found them because I haven’t added a NEW BUG to my collection in about 16 years or more!!!!!! Can you find it? :)
