There’s a lot more happening here than just storage!

When you hear Southern Tier Logistics, warehousing might be the first thing that comes to mind.

And yes, we do that. A lot of it.

But inside our facilities and across our operations, our team is also supporting customers with transportation, manufacturing and production support, inventory management, value added services, specialized logistics, and more.

Over the next several weeks, we’re taking you 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 to show you what our day to day actually looks like.

Real operations. Real Southern Tier Logistics associates. Real examples of how we help manufacturers and businesses simplify their supply chains and keep things moving.

Because sometimes the best solution isn’t adding another vendor.

It’s finding one partner capable of doing more.

Southern Tier Logistics:
More Than Storage.

This one meant a lot. ❤️

During Truck Driver Appreciation Week, a driver who regularly visits our Penn Centre location shared a note about what it feels like to walk through our doors.

He talked about the long days on the road, making deliveries and pickups without expecting recognition, and then said something we couldn’t stop thinking about:

“You walk in and see all this stuff they put out for us, it makes you feel like you’re home.”

But what meant even more was that he said the appreciation isn’t limited to one week. He sees it in the way our office team and warehouse associates welcome drivers every day.

That’s exactly the kind of place we want Southern Tier Logistics to be.

To this driver, and every driver who comes through our doors, thank YOU. We’re glad you feel at home here. 🚛❤️

It’s one of our favorite weeks of the year: Truck Driver Appreciation Week! 🚛❤️

Our Penn Centre and Painted Post locations are stocked with goodies this week as one small way to say a very BIG thank you to the drivers who keep things moving every single day.

Our drivers are an essential part of the Southern Tier Logistics team and an important connection between our warehouses, our customers and the people counting on the products we move.

The miles. The early mornings. The late nights. The changing weather. The tight schedules. We see it, and we appreciate all of it.

To our drivers, thank you for everything you do for Southern Tier Logistics and our customers. This week, the treats are on us! 🙌🚛

Meet Kailey McCormick, Administrative Assistant at Southern Tier Logistics! 👋

Kailey joined our team in June after graduating from Horseheads High School, but she didn’t leave high school with just one diploma. She also earned her associate degree through Corning Community College. 🎓

Now, she’s continuing her education through SUNY Plattsburgh, working toward a bachelor’s degree in accounting and data analytics while gaining hands-on experience as part of the STL team.

“I enjoy learning and being able to try new things every day.”

And there’s plenty more she wants to learn. Over the next year, Kailey hopes to spend more time understanding the floor operations throughout our warehouses and how all the pieces of Southern Tier Logistics work together.

When asked what being part of STL means to her, Kailey said it’s “being part of a team that is supportive and encouraging of each other.”

Outside of work, you’ll find her staying active, cooking or baking, spending time with family and friends, or grabbing something from On a Roll.

We’re excited to have Kailey growing right alongside Southern Tier Logistics. Welcome to the team, Kailey!
