This is something we have been working on for a long time and are now close enough we wanted to make a post about it. The health benefits of the leaf of the Muscadine grape have been well documented with the high concentration of antioxidants, polyphenols, and bioactive compounds like resveratol, ellagic acid, myricetin, kaempferol, and quercetin. We finally have been able to take the leaves and get them shelf stable and have a good flavor. The tea has a similar taste to a green tea, but since it is muscadine grape leaves there is no caffeine. At this time these are loose leaf so you would have to know how to brew loose leaf tea.
