The Toys - A Lover's Concerto (Stereo Mix)

The song was written by Sandy Linzer & Denny Randell.
It was recorded by the Toys at Olmstead Recording Studio in New York City and released as a single in August 1965 (US) & October 1965 (UK).

The single sold over two million copies and was awarded gold record certification by the R.I.A.A.

The song's original version was a major hit in the US and UK (among other countries) during 1965. It reached #2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 & in New Zealand, #1 on the US Cashbox chart (Billboard's competitor), and in Canada on the RPM national singles chart. It peaked at #5 on the UK Singles Chart.

In subsequent years, the song has been recorded by numerous other notable artists, including Cilla Black, The Supremes, The Delfonics, The Fleetwoods, The Lennon Sisters, Sarah Vaughan, and many others.

It also had versions in Spanish ("Concierto para enamorados"), German ("So Fängt Es Immer An"), Finnish ("Aamukonsertto"), Japanese ("Delight").

Neil Sedaka recorded an Italian version ("Lettera bruciata") and Ferrante & Teicher did their own cover as well ("Familiar Concerto").

Netflix's: Love Is Blind - must be a new placement. I got a nice royalty from them. They used 7 of my songs this quarter.

WELL!!!!!! I can actually pay for gas!!! LOL! The royalty rates are inching up thanks to D Trump. I hope Harris does the right thing and increases rates so composers can live on their music AGAIN!

Paramount Plus: Ex on the Beach - used two of my songs, including a cool Reggae song that I didn't think anyone would use! LOL!
