🦟 Aerial Mosquito Spraying Scheduled for Sunday Evening
Palm Beach County’s Division of Mosquito Control will conduct aerial spraying beginning approximately 30 minutes after sunset on Sunday, Sept. 27, weather permitting.
The operation will cover approximately 265,000 acres in populated areas west of Military Trail, including the Jupiter region, Acreage/Loxahatchee/Royal Palm Beach region, Palm Beach Gardens, Wellington, unincorporated Lake Worth, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Boca Raton and Glades communities.
The spraying is being conducted in response to increased mosquito levels and potential vector-borne disease threats.
🌧️ If weather prevents the operation, spraying will be attempted on subsequent evenings until completed.
Residents can also help reduce mosquito populations by eliminating standing water around their homes and using EPA-registered insect repellent when outdoors after dark.
