Our clients range from homeowners’ associations, residential properties, wetlands and preserves.

Job Purpose
Clear Lakes Aquatic W**d Control Inc is currently hiring an Aquatic Spray Technician to join the team. Aquatic Spray Technicians help service our clients on a recurring or one time maintenance schedule while also assisting with new work orders.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Service lakes, ponds, fountains as needed on a recurring or one-time basis

Read and understand all product labels and wear the prescribed PPE for each application.

Have a basic understanding of selected herbicides and algicides.

Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.

Drive a john boat to perform necessary work.

Conduct all work in compliance with our safety precautions.

Work Environment
As an Aquatic Spray Technician you can expect to work in the outdoor environment on uneven terrain near and on bodies of water. Sun, wind, rain, and high temperatures are to be expected. This position requires the handling of chemicals with appropriate personal protective equipment in accordance with existing safety compliance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Landscaping experience.

Basic understanding of application methods and equipment.

Must be able to work outdoor environment.

Mechanical experience preferred.

Must be able to lift over 50lb.

Not afraid of snakes, gators, frogs, spiders, etc.

Willing to obtain a COR Aquatic certification within 1 to 2 years of hire.
