Rubi, Gabby, Tommy, Brian and Garrett enjoyed a morning out with the local Palm Beach North business community on Thursday — thanks to the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce and the Palm Beach Gardens Marriott (breakfast filled all the cravings).

Cheers for organising the Annual Mayors Breakfast and giving us all the opportunity to hear from regional mayors about local priorities, community growth and what’s ahead for this fabulous community.

Thomas, Zach and Gabby headed down to Miami for the 2026 Florida Planning Conference last week. With this year’s theme, Miami Está de Moda – Planning the Magic, Remixing the Future, they had a great time connecting with fellow planners and colleagues and listening to engaging seminars.

Plenty of inspiration has been brought back to the studio this week!

Last Saturday, Insite Studio team members Alexa, Blake, Garrett, Gaby, Rubi, and Austin had a fun excursion with ASLA Florida Chapter / Treasure Coast for a 'Sketch Crawl' at Paradise Palms Botanical & Sculpture Garden in Delray Beach.

What a great excuse to wander and check out the gardens, sketch on the spot (who doesn't need more practise doing that?), and hang out with fellow ASLA members.

Cheers to Aaron Elswick for leading the walk!

I hope you are looking forward to FireFest! We certainly are … and this year Insite Studio is excited to be sponsoring the 20th annual FireFest at Jonathan Dickinson State Park on Saturday, October 17.

The event brings together the community for a great mix of education, outdoor adventure and entertainment, including live fire demonstrations, swamp buggy rides, guided nature walks, a kids zone, a spooky trail, live music and more. It is also a chance to learn why prescribed fire plays such an important role in Florida’s natural landscapes.

We hope to see you there!

Please welcome Ciara Reitz to the Insite Studio team!

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Ciara joins Insite as a Planner after earning her B.S. in City & Regional Planning with a minor in Landscape Architecture from The Ohio State University. She was also recognized with the 2025 APA Ohio Future Leaders Award.

Ciara brings experience in master planning, parks and rec planning, community engagement, site design, mapping and spatial analysis, and she is particularly drawn to the creative, hands-on side of planning (developing ideas from an initial concept into something real).

Outside the studio, Ciara enjoys road trips, camping, concerts, photography, drawing and time with friends. Her move to Florida has also given her a whole new landscape to discover, and she's looking forward to spending more time outdoors, both on the water and on land.

We are so glad to have Ciara on the team, and look forward to seeing where her planning career takes her.

Welcome, Ciara!
