Jesus praised the servant for his returns, not his activity (Matthew 25:14-30).

There's a lesson in that for every leader stacking initiatives on top of initiatives. God isn't necessarily impressed by how much we're doing. He's honoring how faithfully we steward what's been entrusted to us.

At the end of the day, more is not always better. Sometimes the most faithful thing you can do this quarter is subtract, not add.
