Lost rings in Daytona beach or St. Augustine.

Myself (Toby Santangelo) and Ken Dawson, have been metal detecting the beaches on the east coast of Florida for some time now,and have found several amazing things and enjoy the hobby with a passion. But the best part is helping others who have lost items that are dear to them , get them back. Now Ken and myself do this when we can and started Token search and recovery. If you have lost your ring in Daytona beach, St. Augustine, or any local beaches, we can help you!

We got a message from a friend to try and recover a lost ring during a soccer game. Annes ring fell off of her finger, while retrieving a ball from the tree line.
Today, Ken and I went to look, and Ken put his coil over it within 1 minute. Anne was very happy!
Glad we were able to help!!
Thanks, Darlene Pardiny, Anne Hile, Ken Dawson.

An awesome recovery today thanks to another expert recovery hunter,
Barbara Longo.
Barbara referred Mike to us, who lost his ring in the water in St. Augustine early this week.
Today, after a long search, Ken
located it in the water.
This ring will be cleaned up, and reunited with its owner, Thanks to Ken
and Barbara!

Ken made one of our best recoveries last night.
A wedding band set, lost in Daytona by someone visting the area.
We got right on it, and with some hard gridding, he located both rings in close proximity to each other.
Congrats Marie! Glad we could help! 👍

Well, we had a wonderful experience today making a return!
We reached out to Deborah Birmingham through lostmystuff.net, and met at the location where she lost her treasured silver pendant. She and her husband (and Clancy) pointed out the location, and as soon as Ken Dawson lowered his coil, he found it. Needless to say, Deborah was thrilled!
We are glad this was a happy ending story for everyone!
Thanks for working with us, and your generous reward Deborah!
We appreciate it :)

Some food for thought.:

These pennies were found, in the sand, on the beach, near the water line.

Thats one years worth of metal detecting, (weekends) in 1 county, by one person. They are all dated post 1982.

Modern day pennies = copper coated zinc, the actual content is 97.5% zinc, 2.5% copper (coated), so they corrode when introduced to salt/water.

Banks determine these are unacceptable as currency. So here they sit, worthless and rotting. (our tax dollars)

It cost the mint more than 1 penny, to make 1 penny.

Do the math.

Found a little yellow this morning. Indistinguishable markings, almost had me fooled, till it passed the acid test.
