We are thrilled to see that Dr. Edith Jones-Poland from CIRCE Healthcare Solutions, INC. was selected as the March 2 Women Leaders Forum of the Coachella Valley Let's Interact speaker. Full of information and knowledge, we can't wait to hear Dr. Jones-Poland discuss health and wellness and her approach to disease prevention through the most natural means possible.

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Edith Jones-Poland to our March 2 Let's Interact series as one of our guest speakers. This month's theme is "Health is Wealth." Dr. Jones-Poland is the Medical Director, Clinical Quality and Workflow Management for Desert Oasis Health as well as a Primary Care Physician with practices in Palm Desert and Yucca Valley. With a medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, her medical practice philosophy is to treat the whole person:

"I enjoy science and have a heart for service. Medicine is the perfect marriage of the two, and I firmly believe that healthy people build healthy communities."

Dr. Jones-Poland focuses on disease prevention, not just treatment, through the most natural and least invasive means possible. Following medical school, she completed a Fellowship at the internationally recognized Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine, founded by Dr. Andrew Weil. Believing that "food is medicine," Dr. Jones-Poland's passion for fitness and nutrition is evident in her practice and her personal life. Among other activities, she likes to cook, exercise, and read. With four young daughters, she encourages them to live their best and healthiest lives. One of their favorite things to do together is to visit our beautiful national parks and enjoy hiking trails that let them share Nature's beauty. Dr. Jones-Poland is an ardent supporter of Go Red For Women, an American Heart Association (AHA) initiative created in 2004 to end heart disease and stroke in women. In 2021, she was chairperson for the program in the Coachella Valley and Hi-Desert communities. She continues to help the AHA whenever she can, recently joining them on a segment of KESQ's "Desert Chat with Sandie Newton" to promote February as American Heart Month.
