NOTICE OF CONVERSION TO eCOURT AND TEMPORARY CHANGES
TO ELECTRONIC FILING AND TELEPHONE HOURS
The Monterey County Superior Court will be transitioning to a new case management system, eCourt,
effective January 20, 2026. To ensure a smooth conversion process, please observe the following
important deadlines and filing requirements:
• Effective Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. electronic filings will no longer be accepted
via the court’s electronic filing system, File & Serve.
• Only paper filing will be allowed between January 5, 2026, and January 19, 2026.
• Effective Tuesday January 20, 2026, electronic filing will resume for all case types via Journal
Technology’s Court Portal. Additional information and a web address will be posted on the
court’s website in the coming weeks.
