Congratulations to TRFD’s Lieutenant Evan Grimes, on his graduation from the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services’ full-time academy. Lt2 Grimes is full time with Wilbraham Fire Department, and will continue his service here in Three Rivers.

We would like to extend a congratulations as well to FF Renee Forgues, from District One, who also graduated today.

Event: Winter Storm Warning
Alert: ..WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM SATURDAY TO
1 AM EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to
12 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Northern Connecticut, western and central Massachusetts as well as northeast Massachusetts.

* WHEN...From 4 PM Saturday to 1 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow overspreads the region from west to
east roughly between 5 and 9 pm Saturday evening. The snow will
then become heavy and fall at 1 to 2 inches per hour for a time
Saturday night. There may be a bit of a lull in the snow for a
time early Sunday...but a second round of steady snow will
redevelop later Sunday morning into Sunday afternoon. The snow
should finally come to an end sometime early Sunday evening.
Instructions: If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

We are proud to congratulate one of our own, Cadet Landon Zglobicki, on graduating the Monson Regional Fire I Course.

The first of any Three Rivers Fire Cadets to enroll and graduate this class. Congratulations, keep learning, and most importantly continue to grow in your love for the fire service. We are proud and happy to see where this brotherhood takes you.

TRFD would like to congratulate Cadet Landon Zglobicki for graduating from the Monson Regional Training Group Recruit Class 005. Cadet Zglobicki completed the program while still a member of Three Rivers Fire Department Cadet Post 20. The Department is immensely proud, and we know that Cadet Zglobicki will do great things with his time in the Fire Service.
