**Job Overview:**
General Laborer /Lawn Care Tech / Asphalt Prep
We are a local grounds and pavement maintenance company located in the Valley looking for a few employees for the summer season. Most of the our work is in the valley but we also perform in Eagle River and Anchorage. The bulk of work is sealcoating, crack sealing , parking lot cleaning and pavement markings, we maintain a number of commercial and HOA lawns and grounds. We do mowing, edging, hedge trimming, fertilizing, watering, w**d pulling and spraying. This is not your typical office job we work outside all day .
The person we are looking for must be at least 21 years old and have some experience lawn maintenance or laborer work. The candidate will be working on his feet 8-10 hours a day. The candidate will need to be attentive to detail and able to take direction.
Knowledge And Requirements for this position
* Drivers License with good record
* Positive attitude, dependable, hardworking, honest and neat in appearance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong work ethic, self motivated, ability to take constructive criticism and correction.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
* Knowledge and skill of small gas powered engines, mowing, trimming or lawn maintenance preferred.
- Operate hand and power tools to assist in various projects
* Ability to work well as a team.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials
* Good driving record with trailer towing experience
*Ability to lift more than 75 pounds
- Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting and moving materials
*Must be able to pass drug test
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
* You must be able to follow direction and interact with coworkers and clients in a professional, respectful manner
