The front honeyberry and squash patch is doing well for mid season. The alfalfa is definitely aggressive but has done very well in keeping the h**p nettle at bay, fixing nitrogen with deep perennial roots. The other covercrops have also managed to grow including a few Chicory at around 6 to 7 ft tall at the moment.

One of my new favorite currant berry’s is the pink champagne 🍾 😍 took a few years to have enough to taste 😋

Some pictures from around the urban regenerative food forest garden. Fresh fruit, berry's & vegetabl plant's are one of my favorite landscapes plant's to build with 😋. I have 3 types of currants, 3 kinds of Honeyberry’s, 8 types of raspberries, 3 types of apples, 3 types of cherries, 3 types of plums, apricots, asparagus, broccoli, 14 varieties of squash a ton of beets and some chives and a variety of herbs.

Urban regenerative agriculture food forest practices. Honeyberry’s on there 3rd season some are now getting around 3ft tall about half there full grown size. The covercrop is doing really well at building soil and keeping the h**p nettle and grasses at bay. Alfalfa (nitrogen fixation w deep roots) is the main covercrop this season with a variety of prior years volunteer seeds like mustard. The squash are just getting going its been so cold this season its finally been in the 70s for the last week and a half, plus the alfalfa is very aggressive in its ability to out grow every else.
