It is with profound sadness that the Rome Fire Department shares the passing of Fire Department President Ron Auerbach. Ron was a deeply respected member of the Rome Fire Department and the Rome Community. Ron has been an integral member of the fire department during his 66 years of dedicated service. Please keep Ron's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

A Huge Thank You to the Palmyra Lions Club!

Palmyra Public Safety would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Palmyra Lions Club for their generous $10,000 donation following our joint Sportsman’s Raffle and their Rockin' in the Park event!

We are incredibly grateful for their continued support of our department and for everything they do for the Palmyra community. Partnerships like this allow us to continue improving our equipment, resources, and ability to serve our residents.

Thank you to the Palmyra Lions Club, everyone who helped make the event possible, and everyone who came out and supported it. We truly appreciate your support of Palmyra Public Safety!

🚨 A HUGE THANK-YOU! 🚨

The Palmyra Public Safety Department would like to recognize the Cold Spring Riders and Palmyra Mud Slingers! ☀️🛻

Despite the heat, these groups took to the roadways in their UTVs and collected donations for Palmyra Public Safety. They then joined us at the recent Rockin’ the Park event, sponsored by the Palmyra Lions Club at Village Park, where they generously presented the funds they raised.

We sincerely appreciate your teamwork, support, and generous donation to our department and community! 💙

Congratulations to Full-time FF/EMT Jordan Ciula on successfully completing his probationary training with Palmyra Fire Rescue!

Over the past several months, Jordan has worked hard to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to serve our community. Completing probation is a significant milestone and reflects his dedication, professionalism, and commitment to the department.
