🚨 Exciting News for Palmyra Fire Rescue! 🚨

Palmyra Fire Rescue would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Daybreak Foods for their incredible donation of a brand-new 2026 Can-Am Defender 1000 UTV. This is a huge step up from our 2001 Polaris 6x6 we had previously and was only made possible due to their $37,000 donation!

This generous contribution will have a direct impact on our ability to serve the community. The Can-Am Defender will enhance our capabilities during off-road rescues, special events, search operations, brush fires, and emergency responses in areas that are difficult for traditional apparatus to access.

Support from community partners like Daybreak Foods allows us to better protect and serve the residents and visitors of the Palmyra area. Their commitment to public safety and community involvement is truly appreciated. A donation of this magnitude demonstrates an extraordinary investment in the safety and well-being of our community and will benefit our department and residents for many years to come.

Palmyra Fire Rescue would also like to extend a special thank you to Robs Performance Motorsports for their hard work and assistance throughout this project. Their expertise, professionalism, and support helped make this donation a reality, and we greatly appreciate their commitment to helping us place this valuable resource into service for our community.

Please join us in thanking Daybreak Foods for this remarkable investment in public safety. We are proud to put this equipment into service and look forward to utilizing it for many years to come.

This unit has already conducted a successful rescue in the Kettle Moraine State Forest and has proved its worth!

RIP Asst. Chief Anderson…

It is with profound sadness that the Johnson Creek Fire & EMS Department announces the passing of Assistant Chief Matthew Anderson.

Assistant Chief Anderson dedicated countless years of service to the citizens of Johnson Creek and surrounding communities. His leadership, commitment, compassion, and unwavering dedication to the fire service touched the lives of many firefighters, EMS providers, public safety professionals, and community members. His legacy of service and sacrifice will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of serving alongside him.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all departments and agencies that have supported Assistant Chief Anderson, his family, and our department throughout this difficult journey. Your prayers, kindness, and fellowship have been greatly appreciated.

82 years ago today, thousands of brave Allied soldiers stepped off landing craft and onto the beaches of Normandy. Many knew there was a good chance they would never make it home, yet they pressed forward anyway.

D-Day was more than just a military operation. It was a testament to courage, sacrifice, and the determination to stand up for freedom no matter the cost.

Today, we remember the heroes who fought on June 6, 1944, those who gave everything on the beaches of Normandy, and the veterans who carried the memories of that day with them for the rest of their lives.

As members of the fire service, we understand the meaning of answering the call when others need you most. While our mission is different, the selflessness and dedication displayed by the Greatest Generation continues to inspire us every day.

Please take a moment today to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice and the freedoms we enjoy because of them.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
