If and when Donald Trump loses in November, MeidasTouch.com should receive the Medal of Freedom for producing an ad that lures the viewer in with what appears to be Trump reading (he can read?) the tale of the snake. The ad has one on the edge of their seat from the beginning, something’s differen...

"Middle school students engage with text the way they engage with the world; they search for signs of weakness, and prepare to feel contempt. Sometimes the opposite happens, and they are genuinely moved. I’ve had to remind kids it’s not the Super Bowl; there’s no cheering in reading."

Hearing the Scottish play through middle school ears — and mouths.

Tuesday night, come see one of my long time students talk about his path through K-12 education as a kid who learns very differently. His story is personal, inspirational, and a sort of graduation celebration. After 6 years of work together, he's leaving to one of 9 colleges in his acceptance que thus far.

Still our annual favorite: high school and college students with LD and/or ADHD share their trials, tribulations, and survival techniques. You will hear truly inspirational stories. We encourage you to bring family, teachers and children over age 10.

Jeremy is an example of a Palo Alto kid who exceeds the low(er) expectations people have due to his "difference." Excellent article.

One evening in June of 2006, Knicks guard Jeremy Lin, then a recent high school graduate headed to Harvard, played for coach Mike Baldwin’s South Bay Spartans inside Kezar Pavilion, a gym on the southeast corner of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.
