ed and ran Agony Airsoft throughout the year while maintaining his position of Business Team Leader in PVIT, aka Palos Verdes Institute of Technology, the engineering program at PVHS. For his senior project, Derek designed and implemented a marketing campaign that used local team sponsorship and word of mouth advertising to nearly double his quarterly revenue. Agony Airsoft operated at an average of 6K revenue/quarter with an 8% gross profit margin during Derek's senior year. Derek ran Agony Airsoft during the summer after his senior year while picking up a job working at a local dog grooming business.
