- 850 Pro is hiring a Network / Low Voltage Technician in Panama City Beach!

$25-$30/hour based on experience
Full-time

This isn't just a cable-pulling job.

850 Pro works primarily with restaurants and hospitality businesses. We handle a large portion of their technology - from Ubiquiti networks and Wi-Fi to security cameras, POS, phones/VoIP, commercial audio, TVs and sports-bar AV/control systems.

We're looking for someone with real networking experience who can hit the ground running. You should be comfortable with IP addressing, DHCP, switches, VLANs, Wi-Fi/access points, PoE, network troubleshooting, Cat6 termination/testing and building racks.

Ubiquiti/UniFi experience is a big plus. You don't need experience with everything else we install. If you have a strong networking foundation and the ability to learn, we'll teach you our other systems.

This is a physical, hands-on position. You'll pull cable, climb ladders, mount equipment, build racks and troubleshoot systems. You should be comfortable on ladders up to approximately 18 feet and able to lift 50 lbs.

Most work is Monday-Friday during normal business hours, with occasional weekends, early mornings, evenings or overnight work when a project requires it.

We are Hiring!
If you or someone you know has a little experience in the computer networking or security industry, please let us know. A candidate should be computer proficient, be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders and have a dependable vehicle. This will pay above minimum wage. This is a in the field position and is sometimes physically demanding. No remote. No desk job.

Additionally, they need to be well spoken and mannered to interact with our customers. This is a skill expanding job with the potential to make additional money above the base pay.

The main tasks of this position will be installation of network racks, TVs, audio gear, network wire and more.

In this environment, a candidate will learn advanced network troubleshooting skills and about commercial audio and video control systems.

This is great for someone who has gotten an A+ or other tech certification on paper and needs field experience.
