⛳️ Tee Up for a Great Cause! ⛳️
The Bay County Sheriff’s Office Youth Academy Golf Tournament is happening Saturday, February 21st at 9:00 AM at Bay Point Golf Club and we’d love to see you there!
This tournament HELPS TO FUND THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE SUMMER YOUTH ACADEMY PROGRAM, an outreach initiative designed to positively impact Bay County’s youth.
👮♂️ About the BCSO Youth Academy
The Youth Academy serves middle and high school students ages 12–17, giving them the opportunity to interact one-on-one with our deputies and build meaningful, lasting, and positive relationships with law enforcement. Each summer, the Sheriff’s Office hosts multiple week-long academy sessions, mentored and operated by our dedicated School Resource Deputies (SRDs).
✔️ All activities are provided at no cost to students
✔️ Meals, drinks, snacks, and transportation are fully covered
✔️ No cost to families or Bay County taxpayers
The academy is based at the Junior Deputies building behind the Sheriff’s Office, offering a positive environment away from everyday pressures. Throughout the week, students participate in hands-on activities and excursions such as fishing, hiking, and presentations from FWC, EMS, and Bay County Fire Department, along with live demonstrations showcasing different aspects of law enforcement operations.
🏌️♀️ Your participation on the course helps make all of this possible.
Join us, support our youth, and help strengthen the future of our community.
