PRIOR POSTING PENDING: 🏠 LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO WANTS A PROJECT & A CHANCE TO MAKE A PLACE THEIR OWN! 🛠️
This is NOT something we normally do, but we currently have two units located by Lake Frierson, backing up to the government land, that have been left with years’ worth of belongings—both inside and outside. Unfortunately, the units have also sustained damage.
Both units are 3 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms, and we have now officially taken possession of them.
We’re considering doing something a little different with these two properties. Rather than simply cleaning everything out and doing all of the work ourselves, we’re interested in seeing if there is someone who may be looking for an opportunity to take on a project and make the place their own.

Electric service was working, but these units are going to require a LOT of cleaning, work, repairs, and TLC. They are definitely NOT move-in ready and are being considered as a project opportunity.
💰 AND HERE’S THE INTERESTING PART…
For one of these properties, we’re talking about LESS THAN $30 A MONTH to rent the land itself.
And these are BIG YARDS! Both have their own private drive that goes back into a cove. 😳🌳
YES… LESS THAN $30 A MONTH FOR THE LAND!
👉 This is NOT a traditional rental at the beginning.
The initial arrangement would be for someone to rent the land, while taking on the project of cleaning up and restoring the existing dwelling.
The dwelling itself is NOT being advertised as a $30/month rental.
The details of the arrangement—including what work will be done, labor, materials, repairs, improvements, and how the agreed-upon work may be credited toward future rent of the dwelling—will all be discussed and agreed upon in person and in writing before anything is started.
In other words, the time, labor, and materials that are mutually agreed upon and put into the unit could potentially be applied toward future rent of the dwelling once the project is completed and the terms of the future rental are established.
