Congratulations to Weber Metals Inc., longtime partner of Cal Poly Racing, for completing construction on their 60,000-ton press, the largest pull-down forging press in the world! Over the years Weber has donated materials and provided internship opportunities for our members, creating invaluable learning opportunities for our teams. Projects such as Baja's hub pictured below would not be possible without their generosity. Thank you for enabling us to continue engineering our vehicles at the highest level!

In October 2018 Weber hosted its first-ever Manufacturing Day! We opened our doors to local high school students and introduced them to the many interesting career opportunities in forging.

On Tuesday, October 23rd, 2018 Weber Metals and OTTO FUCHS KG unveiled our 60,000-TON forging press. An over $180 million investment, the 60,000-TON press is the world's largest private investment in aerospace metal forging. As a result, Weber will double its employment to 800 jobs.
