The visuals send my imagination scampering in multiple directions...

"The property includes two wells dug into the ground that better resemble underground towers lined with stairs. The larger one is almost 30 meters deep and ends in a tiled floor depicting a compass and the Templar cross. A spiral staircase runs down the well walls, with nine levels of 15 steps, signifying the nine levels of Hell from Dante’s Inferno."

They were never used for storing water.

Clever idea, which should appeal to parents wanting to outsource *some* of their child's storytelling 😦. The child snaps his or her choice of figurine to the adorable little audio box, and the story and/or music rolls out for 15 to 45 minutes, depending.
