Menopause isn’t just a health issue. It’s a money issue.

In the latest SheMoney newsletter, Jacquelyn Zehner dives into WHAM new white paper, Investing in Menopause, and makes the case for a (money) movement. A few of the numbers:

• 1 billion+ women worldwide are in the menopause transition or past it
• Only 20 to 25% of women in menopause receive medical treatment
• Earnings can fall by up to 10% in the four years after a menopause diagnosis
• The US menopause market could grow from under $5B to roughly $40B by 2030
• Yet the category attracts under $300M a year in investment

Such a beautiful Friday afternoon celebrating women whose leadership is making a real difference in our community. Thank you to Jennie Tanner of Tanner Glass and Hardware Jennie Tanner Jelsma for hosting us and supporting this important organization!

The 2026 YWCA Utah Leader Luncheon brought together so many people we admire to recognize this year’s Outstanding Achievement Award honorees: Samira Harnish of Women of the World, Silvia Castro Bennett of Suazo Business Center, Michelle Flynn Michelle Flynn of The Road Home Utah and Asha Parekh Asha Parekh of the Salt Lake County District Attotney’s office.

A special congratulations to the entire team and especially to Liz Owens, whose leadership of YWCA Utah and deep commitment to women and families across our state continues to inspire. And so much gratitude to emcee Nubia PeĂąa and keynote speaker Dr. Yorri Berry A Girl Has No Name for bringing such heart, wisdom, and energy to the room.

Grateful for the work YWCA Utah does every day, and for the remarkable women who keep showing us what leadership in service of others can look like.

Last night, SheMoney founder attended the premiere of Miss Representation: Rise Up at Tribeca, a film she was honored to support as an Executive Producer.

More than a decade after the original sparked a national conversation about the representation of women and girls in media, Miss Representation: Rise Up arrives at a moment when the stories we tell and amplify matter as much as ever.

We are deeply grateful for the leadership of and the ongoing work of , whose commitment to challenging limiting narratives and expanding what is possible for women and girls has helped shape important conversations across media, business, politics, and culture.

Congratulations to the incredible filmmaking team, partners, and advocates who brought this important film to life. We look forward to seeing the conversations it sparks and the impact it creates.

What if the most powerful thing you could do for your child’s financial future starts before they ever open a bank account?

We’re sitting down LIVE with Joline Godfrey, founder of Bounce10 and one of the pioneering voices in financial parenting, and we want you there.

🗓 Thursday, June 11 | 10:00 AM MT / 12:00 PM ET

Joline has spent over three decades developing what she calls financial parenting — the idea that the most important money lessons children receive aren’t from a classroom, but from the everyday moments happening right inside your home.

We’ll explore why financial learning needs to start earlier than most of us were taught, what it looks like to build money habits through play and everyday family life, and how to raise money-confident kids at any income level.

Last Friday, we gathered in Park City for the Human-Centered Financial Method Immersive — a full day exploring what it truly means to show up for clients as a whole person, not just a financial plan.

The room held real conversations: about the forces that shape people’s relationship with money long before they walk through our doors, about the emotional complexity that lives inside financial decisions, and about what it looks like to build the kind of trust that keeps clients for life.

Attendees left with new language, practical tools, and a deeper understanding of what attunement, curiosity, and relational presence can mean for their practice.

Thank you to everyone who showed up with openness, shared generously, and co-created something meaningful together.

We also want to extend a special thank you to for bringing this work into the world. We are so honored to partner with 🌿

Join SheMoney and Park City Film for an evening of film, conversation, and connection at the Women’s Voices Forum 2026: Spring Social & Screening.

This year’s gathering centers around a screening of the documentary Cookie Queens, by premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival to critical acclaim. This film has already secured a late summer theatrical release, rare for any documentary these days, which speaks to the massive commercial appeal of this heartwarming and powerful film.

The evening begins with a smaller SheMoney Social, featuring a pre-film conversation with director , followed by a larger community screening and brief post-film Q&A. We hope to have a strong representation of Summit County troops join us from to enjoy this charming film in community.

This is not simply a film about Girl Scouts, cookie sales  or youth entrepreneurship. It is a charming and poignant story about how young people begin to understand the system of capitalism and to operate in that system. In addition, we witness families struggling to support their daughters in meeting their cookie sales goals while tending to the financial wellbeing of their family.

In the spirit of the film, Girl Scouts (current & alumni)  are invited to wear their Girl Scout apparel or memorabilia—sashes, badges, troop tees, or vintage pieces, as a way to reflect, remember, and connect across generations

With thanks to our fiscal sponsor, , and our co-host, , for helping bring this evening to life. We are especially grateful to our Champion-level sponsors, , and , for their generous support, and to .ut for providing libations at the pre-film SheMoney Social.

Introducing The Human-Centered Financial Method™

Join a 30 minute LinkedIn Live hosted by Jacki Zehner, in conversation with Chantel Chapman, introducing a new approach to financial services developed by The Trauma of Money™ Institute in partnership with SheMoney.

As AI continues to reshape the technical side of finance, something else is coming into focus. The real edge is becoming more human. Trust. Relationships. The ability to sit with complexity and guide people through it.

At the same time, we are in the midst of a massive shift in who holds wealth. An estimated 80 to 100 trillion dollars is moving to younger generations, and especially to women. This is not just a transfer of assets. It is a shift in expectations, values, and decision making.

Financial moments are rarely just about money. They are often tied to life transitions like inheritance, loss, divorce, career changes, and new beginnings. This work asks more of professionals than technical expertise alone.

This session offers a first look at a new framework designed for this moment… one that integrates both financial skill and human capacity.

We will explore:
• Why human centered practice is becoming a defining differentiator
• How trust, psychology, and relationships shape financial outcomes
• An introduction to the Human-Centered Financial Method™
• Details on the upcoming Park City program on May 29
• A preview of the full certification launching this fall

This is especially relevant for:
Financial advisors, wealth managers, bankers, coaches, therapists, and anyone supporting others through meaningful financial decisions and life transitions.
