Please keep your emotions, because our emotions help connects us. We’re not robots. At least not yet. 🙂‍↕️

You can have emotions and healthy boundaries at the same time. ⚖️

And there’s a big difference between being emotional and having emotions. One way to minimize ‘being emotional’ is to pause, process, then proceed. 😌

Let’s not erase our beautiful humanness. Let’s embrace it, lead with it, honor it and celebrate it. Ily. 🖤

Let me be very clear upfront, this post is not a debate about the ethical, environmental or economic damage created by generative AI. 🤖

This post, like most all of my posts, is about brand fundamentals.

There continues to be confusion about what a brand is, and it’s most often confused with brand identity or what the kids call branding. This post is about brand identity (or branding).

Every time I open the apps I see more and more AI generated graphics with NO edits to align with the brands identity (logo, font, color, aesthetic, vibes). And whether it be a salon, pro beauty distributor or brand. And it breaks my heart. Because everything looks and sounds the same, meaning, it’s lacking differentiation and diminishing brand value.

If you choose to use generative AI tools, I beg you to bring your brand story and brand identity to the tool or your brand ends up not being a brand at all, and instead, just another haircut, supply store or bottle of shampoo. And I know it’s not. And I know that’s not what you want.
