Hear ye, hear ye, champions, wanderers, and would-be heroes of PHLARP!

Let it be proclaimed throughout the realm that our long winter hiatus shall end on April 4th, and on that day the gates shall open once more for adventure, glory, and battle!

To celebrate our triumphant return, the following royal boons shall be granted:

Those who have ever played in a Patrol at the property before, whether they be returning veterans or long-absent wanderers, shall receive 30 days of free Gold Membership.

Those who are brand new to our lands shall receive 60 days of free Gold Membership, so that their first steps into the realm may be taken in honor.

And for those who bring fresh blood into the fold, double referral XP shall be awarded:

200 XP when the new player joins us and participates in a Patrol

Another 200 XP once that player rises beyond the rank of Squire

But lo, there is more yet being considered by the lords of the realm.

Depending on our numbers, we are considering hosting PHLARP once each month on the last weekend of the month that contains both a Friday and Saturday.

Should this come to pass, the gates would open on Friday at 6:00 PM. During this time, the town would remain safe: no monsters would roam, and no ten-minute recessions would be called. Wargames may still be played, but they would grant no XP during this peaceful opening.

Even so, a player who attends at all would still receive one-time event participation XP, and a second participation award would be granted if that player remains until Last Man Standing is called at dawn on Saturday.

From that dawn onward, the realm would awaken in full:

Wargames called every two hours

Players may sign on as wandering monsters

Ten-minute recessions may be called

The game matrix would be in full swing

Hourly XP and event XP would be in effect

From there, we would continue hosting PHLARP until Sunday at dawn. Players may remain on Sunday, but no XP shall be awarded after dawn on Sunday.

Also, depending on our numbers, we are considering holding other gatherings for the fellowship of the realm:

Trading Card Game Night

Movie Night

D&D Adventure Night

If these prove viable, they would likely be held Tuesday through Thursday, beginning at 6:00 PM and lasting until 9:00 or 10:00 PM.

And when winter returns once more, we expect to again take a seasonal winter break, so that the people of the realm may turn their hands toward building, improving, and strengthening the property for the adventures yet to come.

All such future plans depend upon our numbers, our growth, and the strength of the community we build together.

So gather your allies. Summon old companions. Bring forth new adventurers.

April 4th, PHLARP returns.
The realm stirs once more.

🛠️⚔️ PHLARP UPDATE: Transitioning to a Free Model Until Spring ⚔️🛠️

Dear PHLARP Adventurers, Heroes, and Beloved Patrons,

Starting July 1st, we will be temporarily shifting to a free model for all participants of PHLARP until Spring of next year.

This decision comes from a place of deep respect for our players and the future of our shared world. As many of you know, our current focus is turning inward—prioritizing the construction of permanent structures in the village of Evermore. These include our long-awaited Tavern, the General Store, the Inn, and of course, the centerpiece of our game world—The Evermore, our ship-inspired hub.

Because these foundational pieces will truly bring Evermore to life, we feel it's only right to pause any charges while we put in the work to raise the town around you. Additionally, until these features are fully realized, we are holding off on advertising and growing the player base.

What does this mean for players?

Everyone will be moved to Copper Membership (5 XP/hour or per event).

New players will receive 3 months of free Gold Membership to help them jump in and grow.

No Patreon tiers will be charged during this time.

We want to offer our sincerest thanks to those of you who have supported PHLARP financially in the past, and to those planning to return as patrons when the time comes. Your support has gotten us this far—and your encouragement keeps the world turning behind the scenes.

Until the thaw of spring brings a new season of adventure, we’ll be hammering, painting, and dreaming with you in mind.

Thank you for being part of this journey,
—The PHLARP Team

Due to inclement weather we will, unfortunately, NOT be playing today. We will get the tavern up within the next month. Hopefully, by adding a roof to get under we’ll have a larger turnout. If you have at least gold membership you’ll be getting a couple of compensatory events (40 XP). If you have platinum you’ll get 80 XP. Thank you for your patronage!

HEAR YE, HEAR YE! CITIZENS OF EVERMORE, GATHER ROUND!
Let it be known that this past weekend was one for the ages—a tale of honor, betrayal, bloodshed, and rebirth! The fields of Evermore bore witness to grand contests of strength and strategy, as heroes clashed in Last Man Standing, Minion, Assassin’s Creed, and Scramble—each proving their mettle in combat and cunning!

👑 A KING’S FALL & A KING’S RISE! 👑
In a most unprecedented turn of fate, King Gregor’s final act before stepping down was to declare a 10-minute recess, only to banish Magnus from Evermore! But lo! In a strange twist of allegiance, Magnus—though exiled—chose to stand guard over Chancellor North during the recess. And how was his loyalty repaid? With North’s own decree of exile upon Gregor himself! The game of crowns is ever treacherous indeed!

🩸 THE RETURN OF THE VAMPIRIC HORDE! 🩸
As the battle for the Crown loomed, Grunglehide, Demolition, and the simple-yet-monstrous Ploptop—all once slain and turned to vampires—returned to Evermore. At first, they seemed friendly, yet treachery lurked beneath their undead skins, for they soon turned upon the town! The heroes fought valiantly, slaying them once more, but questions remained: Why had they attacked? Would they return again? Meanwhile, North, Rand, and Magnus reported an even graver discovery—a massive horde of vampiric monsters lurking in the woods. Once proud warriors of Grunglehide’s tribe, their minds had rotted away, their once-great legacy now a twisted, mindless plague!

💎 TREACHERY & A CROWN FORGED IN BLACKMAIL! 💎
The battle for Evermore’s throne commenced, but Magnus, ever the schemer, had one final trick to play! A diamond meant for the noble William lay hidden—kept as ransom until Magnus secured the Crown! The heroes, reluctant yet bound by fate, had no choice but to bow before their new King Magnus! In the midst of the fray, Rand and Aragon engaged in a duel most fateful, striking each other down simultaneously—but Rand, blessed with Rebirth, rose once more!

🛡️ A WAR COUNCIL & A MYSTERIOUS DIAMOND! 🛡️
With the Crown upon Magnus’s brow, a war council was immediately called. Among the gathered was the ever-faithful William, who bore the scars of battle—an eye lost in combat with an orc! Though he had slain his foe, his wound remained, and no mortal means could restore it. Seeing this, King Magnus bestowed upon him the diamond, and in gratitude, William vowed to soon reveal its true purpose! He turned to the heroes and spoke of creating potions capable of returning the dead to life, though their magic would work only upon those blessed with heroes' blood. Yet the question lingers—could such power ever be harnessed for mere mortals?

🌙 THE NIGHTMARE OF THE WENDIGO! 🌙
With nightfall came one final test of the heroes' resolve. Trapped ‘round the campfire, suspicion ran high, for they sought to root out a Wendigo among them! But fate is ever fickle, and in their paranoia, they slew two of their own… and then turned on North, cutting him down! Only then did the charms awaken, revealing the true Wendigo menace! For several harrowing hours, they battled the nightmarish foe, fighting for their very souls until at last, the dawn rose over Evermore, marking the weekend’s thrilling conclusion!

⚔️ AND SO THE LEGEND CONTINUES…
What secrets does William’s diamond hold? Will the vampiric horde grow stronger? And how shall Evermore fare under King Magnus’s reign? Heroes, the tale is still being written—and your name may yet be etched into the annals of legend! Until next Saturday at 1pm, steel your swords, ready your spells, and prepare to write the next chapter!

Hear ye, hear ye, Citizens of Evermore!

Gather 'round and let thine ears feast upon the most wondrous and perilous tidings of the past moon’s cycle! For a tale most grand and terrible unfolds, one of valor, diplomacy, treachery, and the undying will of Evermore’s bravest souls!

Lo! A new hero hath graced our hallowed grounds, one Phareax Corvid, who, though but freshly arrived, proved his mettle upon the battlefield, seizing third place in the Last Man Standing! Let it be known his name shall not be forgotten, for even the greenest squire may yet rise to greatness!

And what strange tidings next, pray thee ask? Diplomacy, yes, diplomacy—led not by some noble-born, nor by a sworn knight, but by none other than Trinity—a soul who once walked the shadowed path, now bearing the torch of peace! (Or so he claims, though the winds of fate whisper ever in warning!) He and his fellow champions did parley with the orcs and goblins under Grunglehide’s banner, striking an accord most curious. No longer would these monstrous kin prey upon our supply runs; nay, they would defend them! And in return? A sacred boon—the unveiling of goblin and orc lineage secrets, knowledge thought lost to the ages!

But hark! For in their newfound trust, the heroes sought to test this allegiance and embarked upon a supply run of their own! Yet fate is a cruel mistress, and Grunglehide, loyal though he was, met his doom alongside the simple-minded yet beloved Ploptop, whose only utterance—Plop top—shall forever echo in our hearts. But lo! The grave is no prison for those kissed by darkness, and by the heroes’ own hands, both orc and goblin rose again—as vampires! Verily, this marks the third occasion that Evermore’s heroes have sired such green-skinned children of the night! And did the monsters despair? Nay! They reveled in their new existence, their monstrous laughter carried upon the wind!

Then came the darkening of the sky, and with it, dread beyond measure! The Fight Through the Night was upon us, and the heroes gathered in Evermore, where wards and charms lay poised to thwart the wretched Wendigo! But such defenses came at a dire cost, sealing the champions within, forcing them to battle the terror for hours unending! Yet battle they did, and at last, the nightmarish fiend was no more!

But woe! The eve was not yet done! For from the shadows emerged Chancellor North, bearing grim tidings—a great, hulking beast wandered the forests, its form unknown, its purpose unclear. And so King Gregor, steadfast in duty, led his warriors to a strange and smoldering campfire. And there, beside it, lay a giant of a man, his body marred by wounds of eerie hue—purple and red, as if cursed by gods unseen.

Upon reviving the warrior, the truth did shake the very foundation of Evermore—Rand Rainwalker had returned! Torn from Valhalla’s embrace, cast from his honored rest, and hurled into battle once more! And in that moment, King Gregor wept, for before him stood his shield-brother, a soul he thought forever at peace. Was this a boon, or a cruel jest of the gods? None can say, but the storm that raged above as Rand awoke seemed to whisper of doom and destiny alike!

As the night waned, but seven heroes stood unyielding in Evermore’s cause, holding the line 'til dawn’s first light! They were:

Rand Rainwalker, the legend reborn!

King Gregor, warrior and ruler, burdened by fate!

Warlord Malaki, steadfast in the storm!

Lucian, shadow and steel entwined!

Phareax the Squire, proving his worth!

Magnus, might and cunning in equal measure!

Amon, relentless in the fray!

And of course, Chancellor North, harbinger of dire truths!

Thus concludes this tale of peril and glory! Let it be sung in the halls of Evermore, let it be carved into stone, and let none forget the deeds of those who stood against the darkness!

Long live Evermore!

Some changes will be coming soon! As we move forward with the development of the property, we will be adjusting our prices to reflect the rising cost of operating PHLARP such as electric, water, trash removal, renting equipment such as a stump grinder or a woodchipper, maintenance on the property, gravel for the road/ parking lot, insurance, etc.

We hope that you will understand the need to do this and that you will want to continue to support Phlarp financially, however, if you find that you cannot afford to continue to do so then we understand and we hope that you will continue to Larp with us as Phlarp is FREE and will remain so for the foreseeable future. Buying membership gives you an increased rate of XP per hour/event.

· Silver tier will increase to $20 a month. Silver = XP multiplier x 2, 10 XP per hour/event.

· Gold tier will increase to $30 a month. Gold= XP multiplier x 4, 20 XP per hour/event.

· Hero tier will be introduced, and it will have the benefits of Valnear’s tier and Gold tier combined and it will be $60.

· Valnear’s tier will remain the same; Valnear’s tier= $40 for two donation/event entries per weekend even if you are not present (this tier does not include membership).

· All prices that include or come with membership are 5$ more if paid in cash.

The current plan is to implement these changes on December 1st 2024.

Hear ye! Hear ye
For the next 5 weekends (December 14th will be the last day) anyone who donates a lantern that is the exact accepted model that we use will receive 2 entries of donation per lantern. You may donate up to two per weekend. If you are already receiving donation xp through Valnear’s tier on Patreon you are NOT exempt from receiving xp in this manner (you will receive 6 entries of donation at the most). You can donate 20$ instead of a lantern and you will receive the same amount of bonus xp. The lanterns are slightly cheaper than 20$ per lantern so it is more beneficial to buy them and donate them.
