Supervisor Rue and trainee Skidoo visited my worksite today. They say it was for the exercise but really to supervise my work performance of course.

Collected some oak for next winter. Nice 16 inch diameter. Ripped a few of the rounds in half. The STIHL ms500i ripped through them with amazing speed. Threw shavings 18 feet forward while cutting upwards. Saw never bogged down! Created a heck of a pile of shavings. The Woodland Mills Multilander works wonders for hauling out the tree. This oak was big enough and wet enough I had to take two trips to haul out the logs and not overload equipment.

Had to leave the stump cut high. Barbed wire ran out of it in at least 3 spots and am not willing to ruin my chain. The stump is at the edge of a driveway and a trail, might make for a good sign or trail marker mount.
