I’m have been in a meeting all morning with the Department of Rehabilitative Services (DRS) of Illinois. I want to share that they are looking for ways to improve upon all services for job seekers with disabilities.

If you have any stories to share, both good and bad, about the service/community provider that you have worked with and/or are working with please share an email with: [email protected]

Kristen is in charge of service/community provider funding and accountability. She is ready and waiting for your email.

I shared a story with them today that illustrated why there is often a lack of trust between many parents and the DRS (and the service/community providers they fund).

The purpose of these emails is to fine tune services for our teenage and adult children with developmental disabilities.
