It’s almost bird nesting season!
With the crazy warm weather we’ve had this winter, some birds are already getting started.
This exclusion is a method I came up with that looks better than the typical piece of heavy duty screen that’s screwed on over all three vent holes.
If you’ve got any entry holes on your house that you know of, now is a great time to take care of them!
If you’ve wait until they start nesting, you could potentially get a flock of starlings in your attic that cause a substantial amount of damage!

Looking for some roommates for the winter??
In the first video is a nice single lady looking for a place to stay for the winter! She enjoys building webs, killing bugs and sucking the life out of them, and biting any people that may bother her!
In the second video, we have a nice little couple! If that sounds like too much of a crowd, don’t worry, the male probably won’t survive the courting! She enjoys the same hobbies as the First Lady!

I saw this little while out and about today, and it reminded me that the spring season for exclusion is rapidly shrinking!

If you have some 🦇🦇 that have taken up residence in your home, you have a short window of time between now and June to exclude them. After that they will potentially have flightless young in the roost, and they won’t be able to fly until late August.

Then you might have Rats!
With the record number of people buying chickens to raise at home for their own eggs, there is bound to be an increase in the number of rats!
Chickens attract rats, like flies to 💩!
