Wooden pallets are extremely cost-effective and easy to repair; sometimes the two go hand-in-hand. They’re much more beneficial to the environment than plastic pallets due to the ease with which they can be recycled. Many wooden pallets can also be repaired without struggle by anyone with even basic handyman skills. Products shift far less on wooden pallets than they do on plastic ones– not to mention that wood options can hold more of those products thanks to higher weight limits

The cost of plastic pallets is up to three times higher than that of their wooden counterparts. These pallets are also difficult to repair and oftentimes end up needing to be replaced when broken—quick fixes are rarely an option.
