Brad Bergford earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Pre-Law at the University of Colorado where he graduated summa cm laude and was recognized “With Highest Distinction” by the Political Science Department. Bergford went on to earn his juris doctorate from the University of Denver, wi
nning the R.M. Johnson scholarship in the process. At the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Mr. Bergford was active in a variety of student bar associations, including the Criminal Law Society, the Federalist Society, and Christian Legal Society where he served as President. Bergford was the first Student Intern/Law Clerk to work in County Court in the First Judicial District of Colorado, where he produced a civil law bench book that is now a reference tool for county court judges statewide. Following law school, Brad Bergford was selected as a University of Denver Sturm College of Law Judicial Fellow and served the Honorable Philip McNulty in the First Judicial District. During his judicial fellowship, Brad wrote court opinions in cases involving numerous subjects ranging from family law to constitutional law. Bergford also has the distinction of being named an Alliance Defense Fund Blackstone Fellow because of his work with Alliance Defense Fund. Bergford’s practice focuses on civil litigation. He handles disputes in various areas, including contract law, constitutional law, personal injury law, landlord-tenant law, employment law, civil rights law, and family law. He has guided hotly-contested cases to successful conclusions because of his skill, his professionalism, and his creativity. Brad is a Rotarian and volunteers with several civic organizations and Christian ministries.
