Okay… this is not a travel vlog, I swear. But when IFPG sends you to Charleston and Emeline Hotel hands you a bike, a cute room and a whole vibe, what was I supposed to do? Not film it? I’ll admit, I used to scroll past IFPG mixers thinking, “Looks fun… maybe next time.” Not sure why I kept missing out but this time I finally showed up… and Charleston made sure it was worth it. Of course I recorded the boutique aesthetics and all that small-town charm. How could I not? Grateful for the perfect mix of franchise energy, cobblestone streets and hotel wellness goals (yes, they literally set me up to work out and ride around town like a local with a podcast).It may look like vacation… but I promise there was business in there somewhere.

It’s almost midnight. Everyone should be asleep. But here we are, still at the IFPG mixer, deep in conversation about what makes a brand irresistible. Someone just said, “Unit economics are sexy,” and honestly… they’re not wrong. Now, I’m not actively consulting, my full-time world is robotics and coding and ngo work. But I pop into these mixers when I can and somehow, I always leave more inspired than expected.I know, the world says Americans work too much. Maybe we do. But when the room’s buzzing with ideas and energy like this… passion doesn’t clock out at 5 PM.We’re the kind of people who’ll debate royalty structures over dessert and brainstorm brand strategy between sips of wine (or in my case, mocktails, same energy). This isn’t just business. This is midnight curiosity. The kind of enthusiasm that outlasts last call.So yeah, it’s after hours.
