ATTENTION BLACKSHER TRASH SERVICE CUSTOMERS!!!

As of right now we are still on track and not delayed a day. If you couldn't get trash out today or we missed you don't worry we will get it all next week. There were some roads today we could not go down due to the hazardous road condition and some roads may still covered tomorrow.
Always remember what Kevin says "when in doubt put your trash out".

TRASH SHOULD ALWAYS BE OUT AT THE CURB BY 7:00 A.M. BAGGED. IF TRASH IS NOT OUT WHEN WE GO BY WE'LL GET IT NEXT WEEK.

We hope you all enjoyed memorial Day! Thank you all active duty and Vets who have helped keep our country safe. Just a friendly reminder that May 29th is our Wednesday route.

WE ARE RUNNING TUESDAY ROUTE!
FROM THE ONWER
BLACKSHER TRASH SERVICE is running Tuesday route today these neighborhood roads are BAD in some areas.
PLEASE folks if you look at your trash and think “this can wait another week” PLEASE DO.
For those that have to get it picked up this week, trash MUST be in a SNOW CLEARED area AT THE CURB. If an area has not been cleared trash will not be picked up that includes streets too.
If trash is not picked up please do not flood the office with calls, we will pick it up next week. PLEASE PLEASE Remember these roads are slick and dangerous in areas and these ar big heavy trucks.
Tow trucks are a 12 hour wait and 2000 dollars.

PLEASE DON'T FEEL THAT YOU HAVE TO GET TRASH OUT THIS WEEK. WE UNDERSTAND PEOPLE WITH LIMITATIONS MAY NOT BE ABLE TO GET IT OUT. IF YOU DONT HAVE NEIGHBORS WHO CAN HELP, DONT WORRY WELL GET IT NEXT WEEK. WE DONT WANT ANYONE HURT TRYING TO GET THEIR TRASH OUT.

PLEASE SHARE THIS POST IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD GROUPS AND WITH YOUR FRIENDS. Some neighborhoods are closed Facebook group to only residents.

IF TRASH ISNT PICKED UP THIS WEEK WE'LL GET IT WITH NEXT WEEKS TRASH! WE WONT COME BACK IF ITS NOT OUT, WE CANT COME DOWN THAT STREET, OR WE CANT GET TO YOUR TRASH.

UPDATE LANDFILL IS OPEN AND WE ARE RUNNING REGULAR TUESDAY ROUTE!!!!!!!! CHECK OUT OUR NEWEST POST PLEASE.

BLACKSHER TRASH SERVICE PICKUP ALERT!

ATTENTION Blacksher Trash customers,

Due to the inclement weather we are facing, for the safety of our customers, employees and community, Monday‘s service will be pushed back a week.

Service will resume next Monday. We understand this is very inconvenient and we are allowing extra bags/receptacles next Monday 1/13. With that we would also like to remind you to avoid leaving bagged trash at the curb until the morning of service by 7am.

Due to this winter storm the landfills and recycling center closed early Saturday and we have not been able to empty our trucks. The landfill has notified us today that both the landfill and recycling center would still be closed Monday 1/6/2025 and quite possibly closed Tuesday 1/7/2025.

Our company has never had to deal with these circumstances to this degree before and we do apologize this is out of our control. I am terribly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you, our wonderful customers.

We will continue updating our Facebook, voicemail and so on as needed with any weather related delays.

Monday route will be moved 1 week to Monday 1/13/25. Again we are very sorry for the inconvenience.
