So you wrote a screenplay and you want script coverage / story notes / a neutral opinion from someone who's read a ton of screenplays.
Fair enough:
My story notes consist of page-by-page notes taken as I'm reading, followed by an overall analysis formed once I know the intended outcome of the script. Average 4x as long as standard studio script coverage for 140 US$.
Qualifications? I am a WGA screenwriter. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1096914/
Before my first studio deal I did coverage for the film companies for five years. During that time I read scripts for Jerry Bruckheimer, New Line, Orion, Richard Donner, Wendy Finerman, Cinergi, Dreamworks, MPCA (Dumb & Dumber), Team Todd (Austin Powers), New Regency and more.
I made good calls as a filmco reader. I've had film company execs with half a billion dollars in Box Office to their name call me at home to talk them into or out of buying spec screenplays.
Absorbing the lessons of thousands of spec script readings helped my own writing immensely- to the point where I landed a feature spec sale with Universal. I've written for Dreamworks and Lionsgate since.
I focus on the kind of attention that really makes your writing better and helps you over whatever your own screenwriting hurdles are. Some clients are new screenwriters, first time screenwriters and vets.
I believe my service remains a high quality service because I don't overdo it on volume. A high quality, low volume service.
Writers with questions or who might be curious about notes samples in any given genre can E me here or at the reading service email addy ExtHollywoodDay @ aol.com , which is the Pay Pal addy. Most people use that and email a PDF.
