As Black History Month comes to an end, we hope it ends as a reminder 🤎

Black history isn’t something that happened. It’s something being made, right now, today, by people who didn’t wait for permission.

A 17-year-old who got her pilot’s license before her driver’s license. A gymnast who built a legacy at the first-ever HBCU gymnastics program and then made history again. A couple who heard “no” from every bank and built a shopping plaza anyway. A swim team reclaiming a sport that was segregated against their grandparents. Two Black women who didn’t ask for a seat at the table …they bought the whole stadium.

And behind all of them? A nation where Black homeownership is rising faster than it has in decades. Where over a million students are finally learning Black history as American history. Where Black entrepreneurs are building new platforms because they refused to keep playing by someone else’s rules. 👏

These are 7 recent stories that highlight black excellence and forward movement. There are thousands more unfolding right now: in classrooms, cockpits, gyms, living rooms, and boardrooms.
