Beware: fraud alert!!! For $2080
Tow truck companies (Houston)
W & W Wrecker Services LLC is issuing this notice to alert tow truck companies in the Houston area about a case that could involve fraud.

Reported case
On May 8, we transported a welding machine from Pasadena, Texas to 211 Mackey Ave, Barstow, TX 79719.

The person we coordinated with appears as Rubén Durán in the Odessa, Texas area, with phone number +1 (929) 930-7447.

More than 20 days have passed since the unit was picked up and delivered.
After the service was completed, the client canceled the transaction made by credit card.
After the cancellation, our bank is charging us the fee (later, approximately after 20 days).
For more than 5 days, we tried to contact him to resolve the issue; he only replied one day, saying he would “look into it,” and then stopped responding.
We are sharing our experience so that tow truck companies in Houston take precautions with this individual.

Mr. Durán already has our information, but we are leaving our Zelle number in case he would like to make the payment and have this post removed.
